€270 raised for hospitalized children thanks to Alexis's Marathon Bingo!

A first fundraiser full of good cheer, a marathon, bets on a finishing time and, above all, a wonderful show of solidarity: a look back at Yodalix's very first fundraising event.

An idea from Alexis

It all started with Alexis, who suggested running a bingo game around his marathon time. The idea was simple: everyone could bet on the time he would finish in on race day.

An original and friendly way to combine a sporting challenge with a great cause, while giving everyone a chance to support Yodalix!

A 3:26 marathon: well done, Alexis!

On race day, Alexis put in a superb performance, finishing his marathon in 3 hours 26 minutes! Huge congratulations to him on this sporting achievement. 🏃‍♂️

And who guessed right? His mom, Gadget! She clearly knows her son very well and bet on the right time. She wins a nice bottle of wine: congratulations to her! 🍷

Beyond the race result and the winning bet, this initiative above all brought people together around a shared goal: helping hospitalized children.

€270 for hospitalized children in Lyon

Thanks to the participation and generosity of everyone who took part in the bingo, €270 was raised.

This money will fund games for children treated at the IHOP (Institute of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology), at the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon.

When a child is in the hospital, being able to play, have fun and escape for a moment is precious. With this first fundraiser, we hope to help, in our own way, make their days a little brighter.

A first fundraiser… and the start of the adventure!

Alexis's Marathon Bingo marks an important milestone for Yodalix: it was our very first fundraiser!

Our goal for the coming months is to keep up the momentum, with one fundraiser a month, to support children in hospitals all over France.

We want to launch more solidarity initiatives, come up with activities everyone can join, and turn generous impulses into concrete projects for children and their families.

A huge thank-you to Alexis for this great idea, to Gadget for her winning bet, and to everyone who took part and supported us. This first success encourages us to keep going!
